     Henry Reginald Birley is the son of Herbert Birley and Cicley Margaret Birley.¹

     Gerald Fitzgerald was the son of Thomas FitzGerald, 22nd Knight of Glin and Mary Bateman.^2,1 He married Catherine Yeilding, daughter of Richard Yeilding and Ann Massy.¹ He died on 28 March 1806.¹
     He was a United Irishman.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1796 in the 11th Foot, when he was dismissed from the service.¹ He was leader of the Limerick Insurgents in the Emmet Uprising in 1803.¹ In 1803 he was reinstated in the Army.¹ He lived at Ballydonoghue, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He was author of a pamphlet on his dismissal and subsequent reinstatement.¹

     Alexander Abernethie graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Catherine Yeilding was the daughter of Richard Yeilding and Ann Massy.^2,3 She married Gerald Fitzgerald, son of Thomas FitzGerald, 22nd Knight of Glin and Mary Bateman.¹ She died on 19 August 1807.¹
     She lived at Cloghers, County Kerry, Ireland^G.¹ Her married name became Fitzgerald.

     Thomas Fitzgerald was born on 4 March 1800.^1,2 He was the son of Gerald Fitzgerald and Catherine Yeilding.³ He married Anne Harte, daughter of William Johnson Harte.¹ He died in 1860, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1820 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹

     William Johnson Harte is the son of Sir Richard Harte.¹
     He lived at Coolruss, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹

     Anne Harte was the daughter of William Johnson Harte.² She married Thomas Fitzgerald, son of Gerald Fitzgerald and Catherine Yeilding.¹ She died on 15 April 1849.¹
     Her married name became Fitzgerald.

     Reverend Richard Fitzgerald was born in 1801.¹ He was the son of Gerald Fitzgerald and Catherine Yeilding.² He married Sarah Georgina Boyd, daughter of William Boyd, on 23 February 1832.¹ He died on 19 February 1885.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1832 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the Curate at Kilnaghton, Ireland.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Ballydonoghue, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹
