     Eleanor Dobson was born circa 1756.2 She was the daughter of Robert Dobson and Maria Tomkins.1 She married John Blaquiere, 1st Baron de Blaquiere of Ardkill, son of Jean de Blaquiere and Marie Elizabeth de Varennes, on 30 November 1775 at Mary Street, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1,3 She died on 20 December 1833 at Regent’s Park, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.2
     From 30 November 1775, her married name became Blaquiere.1 After her marriage, Eleanor Dobson was styled as Baroness de Blaquiere of Ardkill on 30 July 1800.
