     Deenya Kovachevska is the daughter of Dimitri Kovachevsky.¹ She married Major Alan Herschel Hamilton-Gordon, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alexander Hamilton-Gordon and Isabel Newmarch, on 7 July 1933.¹
     From 7 July 1933, her married name became Hamilton-Gordon.¹

     Dimitri Kovachevsky lived at Sofia, Bulgaria^G.¹

     Eileen Muriel Hamilton-Gordon was born on 17 July 1889.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alexander Hamilton-Gordon and Isabel Newmarch.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Peter Benson Maxwell, son of Sir William Edward Maxwell and Lilias Grant Aberigh-Mackay, on 5 December 1912.¹ She married, secondly, Claude Pemberton Wilkinson Lloyd, son of Reverend Pemberton Lloyd, on 23 January 1919.¹ She died on 7 November 1976 at age 87.²
     From 5 December 1912, her married name became Maxwell.¹ From 23 January 1919, her married name became Lloyd.¹

     Captain Peter Benson Maxwell was born on 10 October 1880.² He was the son of Sir William Edward Maxwell and Lilias Grant Aberigh-Mackay.^1,3 He married Eileen Muriel Hamilton-Gordon, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Sir Alexander Hamilton-Gordon and Isabel Newmarch, on 5 December 1912.¹ He died on 24 September 1914 at age 33 at France^G, from wounds received in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.

     Sir William Edward Maxwell was born on 5 August 1846 at Brompton, London, England.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Peter Benson Maxwell and Frances Dorothea Synge.³ He married Lilias Grant Aberigh-Mackay, daughter of Reverend James Aberigh-Mackay and Lucretia Livingston Reed, on 2 June 1870 at St. John’s Church, Meerut, India.³ He died on 14 December 1897 at age 51, at sea.²
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹

     Joan Maxwell was born on 28 September 1913.¹ She is the daughter of Captain Peter Benson Maxwell and Eileen Muriel Hamilton-Gordon.¹ She married A/Cdre. John Newall Tomes, son of Brigadier Clement Thurstan Tomes and Edith Gladys Newall, on 22 June 1936.¹
     From 22 June 1936, her married name became Tomes.¹

     A/Cdre. John Newall Tomes was born on 7 February 1913.² He was the son of Brigadier Clement Thurstan Tomes and Edith Gladys Newall.^1,2 He married Joan Maxwell, daughter of Captain Peter Benson Maxwell and Eileen Muriel Hamilton-Gordon, on 22 June 1936.¹ He died on 16 September 2008 at age 95.²
     He gained the rank of Air Commodore in the Royal Air Force.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Brigadier Clement Thurstan Tomes was born on 28 August 1882.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur Tomes and Caroline Edith Collins.² He married, firstly, Edith Gladys Newall on 16 April 1912 at Colaba, Bombay, India^G.² He married, secondly, Alexandra Clare Campbell on 16 March 1948.² He died on 5 October 1972 at age 90.²
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He lived at Minson’s Common, Charmouth, Dorset, England^G.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.¹

     Major Ian Maxwell Tomes was born on 8 January 1940.¹ He is the son of A/Cdre. John Newall Tomes and Joan Maxwell.¹ He married Verena Meyer, daughter of Anton Meyer and Benedikta Emilie Sutter, on 16 August 1968.¹
     He was educated at Davisville School, Toronto, Ontario, Canada^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He retired from the military, with the rank of Major, late of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1973.² He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1990.²

     Verena Meyer is the daughter of Anton Meyer and Benedikta Emilie Sutter.^1,2 She married Major Ian Maxwell Tomes, son of A/Cdre. John Newall Tomes and Joan Maxwell, on 16 August 1968.¹
     From 16 August 1968, her married name became Tomes.¹
