Sir John Bury Gordon, 5th Bt.1
On his death, his baronetcy became dormant.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gordon, of Park, co. Banff [N.S., 1686] on 11 December 1780.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 13th Light Dragoons.2 His marriage to Pyne Crosbie was annulled in 1806.3 In 1826 he raised a regiment, 30th Lancers, for the Nizam of Hyderabad.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1828 in the 15th Hussars.2
