     He was appointed Fellow, Linnean Society (F.L.S.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Geological Society (F.G.S.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Liverpool.¹

     Wynfrid Laurence Henry Duckworth was born on 5 June 1870.¹ He was the son of Henry Duckworth and Mary Jane Bennett.² He married Eva Alice Wheeler, daughter of Frederick Wheeler, on 16 September 1902.¹ He died on 14 February 1956 at age 85, without issue.¹
