     Sir Noel Percy Hugh Dryden, 7th/10th Bt. was born on 24 December 1910.² He was the son of Major John Erasmus Skottowe Dryden and Kate Mary Gibb.² He married Rosamund Mary Scrope, daughter of Stephen Francis Eustace Scrope, on 22 August 1941.² He died on 23 March 1970 at age 59.²
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.² He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [G.B., 1795] on 15 March 1938.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Turner, of Ambrosden, co. Oxford [G.B., 1733] on 15 March 1938.²

     Gladys Ethel Florence Dryden was the daughter of Major John Erasmus Skottowe Dryden and Kate Mary Gibb.² She married Major Hartley N. Butterworth on 12 July 1934.¹ She died on 28 September 1995.¹
     From 12 July 1934, her married name became Butterworth.
