     Sir John Dryden, 7th Bt. was the son of Edward Dryden and Elizabeth Allen.² He married, firstly, Frances Ingram, daughter of Thomas Ingram, in June 1724.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Rooper, daughter of John Rooper, on 22 September 1726.² He died on 21 March 1770, without issue.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] on 3 November 1718.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1727.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     Frances Ingram was the daughter of Thomas Ingram.¹ She married Sir John Dryden, 7th Bt., son of Edward Dryden and Elizabeth Allen, in June 1724.¹ She died circa January 1724/25.¹ She was buried on 30 January 1724/25.¹
     From June 1724, her married name became Dryden.

     Mary Dubber is the daughter of William Dubber.² She married Bevill Dryden, son of Edward Dryden and Elizabeth Allen.¹
     Her married name became Dryden.

     Her married name became Ramsay.

     William Ramsay married Maria Dryden, daughter of Bevill Dryden and Mary Dubber.¹

     Philippa Dryden is the daughter of Bevill Dryden and Mary Dubber.² She married Thomas Steele.¹
