He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] on 22 May 1632.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northanptonshire.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1634.2

He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Dryden, of Canons Ashby, co. Northampton [E., 1619] before 11 November 1658.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1667.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1669.2
