     Gillian Rosamund Allison is the daughter of Frank Allison.² She married Ian David Patrick Macpherson, 3rd Baron Strathcarron, son of David William Anthony Blyth Macpherson, 2nd Baron Strathcarron and Diana Hawtrey Deane, on 13 July 1974.¹
     From 13 July 1974, her married name became Macpherson. After her marriage, Gillian Rosamund Allison was styled as Baroness Strathcarron in 2007.
