     John Hugh Chappell was born on 27 August 1879 at Ponsonby, Auckland, New Zealand.¹ He was the son of William Henry Chappell and Isabella Graydon.² He married Emily Helen McKenny Evans, daughter of Stewart Eyre Evans and Harriet McKenny, on 13 March 1912 at St. Matthew’s Church, Auckland, New Zealand.^1,2 He died on 19 May 1955 at age 75 at Avondale, Auckland, New Zealand.¹

     Stewart Eyre Chappell was born on 5 December 1912.¹ He was the son of John Hugh Chappell and Emily Helen McKenny Evans.¹ He married Dulcie Mavis McKay on 6 June 1942.¹ He died on 13 June 1969 at age 56, without issue.¹

     Dulcie Mavis McKay was born on 8 December 1918.² She married Stewart Eyre Chappell, son of John Hugh Chappell and Emily Helen McKenny Evans, on 6 June 1942.¹ She died on 20 November 1999 at age 80.¹
     From 6 June 1942, her married name became Chappell.¹

     Colonel James Denis Dillon was baptised on 21 November 1718.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Dillon, Comte Dillon and Christina Sheldon.² He died on 30 April 1745 at age 26, killed leading his men to victory over the British.¹
     He was appointed Knight, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.¹ He was Colonel Proprietor of the Dillon Regiment from 1744 to 1745.¹ He fought in the Battle of Fontenoy on 30 April 1745.¹

     Colonel Edward Dillon was born in 1720.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Dillon, Comte Dillon and Christina Sheldon.² He died on 2 July 1747 at Maastricht, The Netherlands, killed in action.¹
     He was Colonel Proprietor of the Dillon’s Regiment between 1745 and 1747.¹ He fought in the Battle of Lauffeld on 2 July 1747.¹

     Arthur Richard Dillon was born in 1721 at Saint-Germains, France^G.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Arthur Dillon, Comte Dillon and Christina Sheldon.² He died on 5 July 1806 at London, England^G.¹
     He held the office of Bishop of Evreux in 1753.¹ He held the office of Archbishop of Toulouse in 1758.¹ He held the office of Archbishop of Narbonne in 1762.¹ He held the office of Primate of the Gauls.¹ He was President of the States of Languedoc.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the Holy Ghost in 1776.¹

     Isabella Harriet Chappell was born on 14 May 1914 at Newton, Auckland, New Zealand.¹ She was the daughter of John Hugh Chappell and Emily Helen McKenny Evans.¹ She was baptised on 31 January 1915 at St. Mathew, Auckland, New Zealand.¹ She married Cyril George Treby on 14 April 1941 at St. Pauls, Auckland, New Zealand.¹ She died on 1 January 2005 at age 90.²
     From 14 April 1941, her married name became Treby.¹

     J. S. Hallam gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹

     Cyril George Treby was born on 30 May 1917 at Hanwell, London, England.¹ He was baptised on 29 July 1917 at St. Mary’s, Hanwell, London, England.¹ He married Isabella Harriet Chappell, daughter of John Hugh Chappell and Emily Helen McKenny Evans, on 14 April 1941 at St. Pauls, Auckland, New Zealand.¹ He died on 15 July 1988 at age 71 at North Shore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand.¹
