     Sir John Ledward Royden, 4th Bt. was born on 31 December 1907.² He is the son of Sir Ernest Bland Royden, 3rd Bt. and Rachel Mary Smith.² He married Dolores Catherine Coward, daughter of Cecil John George Coward, on 30 June 1936.² He died on 30 May 1976 at age 68.²
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was with the Ministry of Economic Warfare between 1939 and 1945.² He was director of Duncan Fox and Company, S American Merchants.² He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Royden, of Frankby, co. Palatine of Chester [U.K., 1905] on 13 October 1960.²

     Catherine Anne Royden was born on 28 February 1945.² She is the daughter of Sir John Ledward Royden, 4th Bt. and Dolores Catherine Coward.² She married Christopher Synge Barton, son of Andrew Synge Barton and Gertrude Ursula Désirée Winch, on 14 July 1965.² She and Christopher Synge Barton were divorced in 1979.²
     She was also known as Anne.² From 14 July 1965, her married name became Barton.

     Melissa Barton was born on 28 November 1970.¹ She is the daughter of Christopher Synge Barton and Catherine Anne Royden.²

     Geoffrey Bluett Barton was born on 25 July 1946.¹ He is the son of Andrew Synge Barton and Gertrude Ursula Désirée Winch.²
     He was educated at Berkhamsted School, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Diana Synge Barton was born on 25 May 1914.¹ She is the daughter of Claud Barton and Olive Marguerite Synge.² She married Jacques Alois Hervé on 18 January 1961.¹
     From 18 January 1961, her married name became Hervé.¹

     Jacques Alois Hervé married Diana Synge Barton, daughter of Claud Barton and Olive Marguerite Synge, on 18 January 1961.¹

     Judith Camilla Synge Barton was born on 12 August 1916.¹ She is the daughter of Claud Barton and Olive Marguerite Synge.²

     Laura Maria Synge was the daughter of Sir Robert Synge, 5th Bt. and Laura Hart.² She married Captain Henry Pomeroy Gilbert on 15 October 1867.¹ She died on 12 September 1927, without issue.¹
     From 15 October 1867, her married name became Gilbert.

     Captain Henry Pomeroy Gilbert married Laura Maria Synge, daughter of Sir Robert Synge, 5th Bt. and Laura Hart, on 15 October 1867.¹ He died in 1891.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹

     Helen Synge was the daughter of Sir Robert Synge, 5th Bt. and Laura Hart.² She married Reverend Noel Platt on 8 January 1891.¹ She died on 19 April 1925.¹
     From 8 January 1891, her married name became Platt.
