     Michael Clifford Wentworth Dilke was born on 22 March 1909.¹ He was the son of Sir Fisher Wentworth Dilke, 4th Bt. and Ethel Clifford.² He married Rosemary Blanche Troubridge, daughter of Sir Thomas Herbert Cochrane Troubridge, 4th Bt. and Laura Gurney, on 9 March 1940.¹ He died on 25 March 1944 at age 35.¹
