     Inna Veronica Adeline Hay-Newton usually went by her middle name of Veronica.¹ From 5 August 1966, her married name became Jones.¹

     Vera Jean Hay-Newton was born on 26 June 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Stuart Hay-Newton and Inna Vera Evelyn Scott.¹

     Albreda Julia Hay-Newton was the daughter of William Drummond Ogilby Hay-Newton and Adeline Charlotte Gordon.¹ She died on 14 March 1950, unmarried.¹

     Francis John Stuart Hay-Newton was born on 19 April 1843.² He was the son of John Stuart Hay-Newton and Margaret Eliza Fairlie.² He married Lucy Jane Fergusson, daughter of Major Robert Duncan Fergusson and Helen Blackburn, on 25 April 1887.¹ He died on 2 March 1913 at age 69.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 14th Hussars.² He was British Consul to Ajaccio in 1888.² He was British Consul to Stockholm in 1889.² He was British Consul to Oporto in 1891.² He was Consul-General to Algiers in 1897.² He was a Queen’s Messenger.² He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹ He was Deputy Governor to the Isle of Wight and Carisbrooke Castle between 1910 and 1913.² He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.²

     Lucy Jane Fergusson was the daughter of Major Robert Duncan Fergusson and Helen Blackburn.² She married, firstly, Hon. Arthur Hay David Fraser, son of Alexander Fraser, 18th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Charlotte Evans, on 9 November 1877.¹ She married, secondly, Francis John Stuart Hay-Newton, son of John Stuart Hay-Newton and Margaret Eliza Fairlie, on 25 April 1887.¹ She died on 10 March 1939.¹
     She was Extra Lady-in-Waiting to HRH Princess Beatrice.¹ From 9 November 1877, her married name became Fraser. Her married name became Hay-Newton.

     Hon. Arthur Hay David Fraser was born on 19 August 1852.¹ He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 18th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Charlotte Evans.¹ He married Lucy Jane Fergusson, daughter of Major Robert Duncan Fergusson and Helen Blackburn, on 9 November 1877.² He died on 27 January 1884 at age 31.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.¹

     Martin Ferdinand Eisenbach was born on 26 July 1944. He is the son of Walter Eisenbach and Elisabeth Maria Theresia Gräfin zu Stolberg-Stolberg. He married Monika Giegel on 21 February 1973.

     Margaret Hay-Newton was the daughter of John Stuart Hay-Newton and Margaret Eliza Fairlie.¹ She married Gustavus Irwin Knight, son of John Thomas Knight, on 14 February 1871 at St. Andrews, Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.^1,2 She died in 1908 at Wandsworth, Surrey, England^G.²
     Her married name became Knight.

     Gustavus Irwin Knight was the son of John Thomas Knight.² He married Margaret Hay-Newton, daughter of John Stuart Hay-Newton and Margaret Eliza Fairlie, on 14 February 1871 at St. Andrews, Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.^1,2 He died in 1873 at Dorking, Surrey, England^G.²
