Ernest Henry Astley Cooper was born on 22 August 1858.1 He was the son of Reverend Samuel Lovick Astley Cooper and Margaretta Sarah Lukis.2 He married Mary Randolph, daughter of Major Beverley Randolph, on 17 February 1903.1 He died on 1 January 1942 at age 83, without issue.1
