     Alexander James Burke Cole was born on 15 May 1929.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. John James Burke Cole and Aileen Charlotte McNeile.² He died on 31 March 1939 at age 9.¹

     Brigadier Edward Cunliffe Cooke-Collis was born on 27 October 1902.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Cooke-Collis and Elizabeth Marion Shrubsole Cunliffe.² He married Elizabeth Grace Heigham, daughter of Reverend John Henry Heigham, on 23 June 1931.¹ He died on 17 June 1989 at age 86 at Claro, Yorkshire, England.^3,4
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He was commander of the 6th Battalion, Green Howards between 1941 and 1942.¹ He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1942 and bar (1943.)¹ He was commander of the 69th Infantry Brigade between 1942 and 1944.¹ He was commander of the 70th Infantry Brigade in 1944.¹ He was awarded the Silver Star U.S.¹ He was commander of the 12th Infantry Brigade in 1946.¹ He was commander of the 10th Infantry Brigade between 1946 and 1948.¹ He was commander of the Hamburg Sub Area between 1948 and 1950.¹ He was commander of the 158th Infantry Brigade between 1950 and 1953.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1954.¹ He lived in 1976 at 16 Larkhill Crescent, Ripon, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Grace Heigham was born on 22 September 1903.² She was the daughter of Reverend John Henry Heigham.³ She married Brigadier Edward Cunliffe Cooke-Collis, son of Lt.-Col. William Cooke-Collis and Elizabeth Marion Shrubsole Cunliffe, on 23 June 1931.¹ She died in 1983.²
     From 23 June 1931, her married name became Cooke-Collis.

     Susan Isabella Cooke-Collis was born on 30 September 1932.¹ She is the daughter of Brigadier Edward Cunliffe Cooke-Collis and Elizabeth Grace Heigham.² She married Bryan William Turgoose, son of William Willoughby Turgoose, on 18 July 1959.¹
     From 18 July 1959, her married name became Turgoose.

     Bryan William Turgoose is the son of William Willoughby Turgoose.¹ He married Susan Isabella Cooke-Collis, daughter of Brigadier Edward Cunliffe Cooke-Collis and Elizabeth Grace Heigham, on 18 July 1959.¹
     He lived in 1976 at 24 Church Lane, Wighill, Tadcaster, Yorkshire, England^G.¹

     Philip Bryan Turgoose was born on 23 February 1962.¹ He is the son of Bryan William Turgoose and Susan Isabella Cooke-Collis.²

     Martin Edward Turgoose was born on 9 November 1965.¹ He is the son of Bryan William Turgoose and Susan Isabella Cooke-Collis.²
