     She was educated at New York School of Interior Decoration, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ From 19 January 1952, her married name became Bryant.

     Theodore Henry Bryant lived at 36 St. Mary Street, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Terl Malcolm Bryant is the son of Theodore Henry Bryant.² He married Audrey Theodosia Carden, daughter of Eustace Markham Carden and Lucy Theodosia Badcock, on 19 January 1952.¹
     He lived in 1976 at The Dial House, Walgrave, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Terl Timothy Carden Bryant was born on 2 May 1961.¹ He is the son of Terl Malcolm Bryant and Audrey Theodosia Carden.²
     He was educated at Sibford School, Banbury, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Shane Theodosia Bryant was born on 1 November 1956.¹ He is the son of Terl Malcolm Bryant and Audrey Theodosia Carden.²

     Virginia Tarrant Bryant was born on 16 May 1958.¹ She is the daughter of Terl Malcolm Bryant and Audrey Theodosia Carden.²

     Suzanna Baynes Bryant was born on 25 March 1963.¹ She is the daughter of Terl Malcolm Bryant and Audrey Theodosia Carden.²

     Lt.-Col. John Carden was born on 13 May 1870.¹ He was the son of Charles Wilson Carden and Jane Bolton King.² He married Susan Ellen Wake, daughter of Drury Wake and Louisa Julia Harriet Nethercote, on 25 October 1909.¹ He died on 10 August 1915 at age 45 at Gallipoli, Turkey^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Royal Navy School, New Cross.¹ He was with the Pioneer Column for Mashonaland in 1890.¹ He fought in the First Matabele War in 1893, as galloper and scout.¹ He was Adjutant of the Bulawayo Field Force in Matabele Rebellion in 1896.¹ He was Commandant of the Police depot at Salisbury, Rhodesia in 1898.¹ He was established Police post North of the Zambesi in 1899.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He was Commandant of the North Rhodesian Police in 1906.¹ He was Administrator of Northern Rhodesia between 1907 and 1910.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1910.¹ He was Commandant of Police Forces, North-East and North-West Rhodesia in 1911.¹ He retired from the military in 1912, with the rank of Colonel, late of the British South African Police.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 5th Wiltshire Regiment.¹

     Drury Wake was born in 1827.² He is the son of Sir Charles Wake, 10th Bt. and Charlotte Tait.³ He married Louisa Julia Harriet Nethercote, daughter of Henry Osmond Nethercote and Charlotte Frances Allix, on 20 August 1874.² He died on 22 April 1891.²
     He was a practising barrister.² He lived at Pitsford House, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹
