     Henry Bertram Roper-Caldbeck was born on 15 May 1911.¹ He was the son of Major William Caldbeck Roper-Caldbeck and Alice Mary Young.² He married Dorothy Irene Rawes, daughter of Stanley Rawes, on 28 September 1956.¹ He died on 27 May 1981 at age 70.³
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of L/Bdr in the Straits Settlement Volunteer Force.¹ He was in business at Singapore^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he became a POW.¹

     Stanley Rawes lived at Lisbon, Portugal^G.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Dorothy Irene Rawes is the daughter of Stanley Rawes.² She married Henry Bertram Roper-Caldbeck, son of Major William Caldbeck Roper-Caldbeck and Alice Mary Young, on 28 September 1956.¹
     From 28 September 1956, her married name became Roper-Caldbeck.

     Julia Christian Dora Roper-Caldbeck was born on 21 September 1900.¹ She was the daughter of Major William Caldbeck Roper-Caldbeck and Alice Mary Young.² She died on 31 October 2004 at age 104.³
     She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.) in 1945.¹ She lived in 1976 at Dobell’s Farm, Ditchling Common, Hassocks, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Lorne Christian Roper-Caldbeck was born on 30 April 1944.¹ He is the son of Brigadier William Noel Roper-Caldbeck and Edith Anderson.^2,1

     Kathryn Anson is the daughter of Peter George Anson and Kay (?)¹
