Dennis Owen Bullen was born on 24 July 1907 at Glamorgan, Wales.^1,2 He was the son of James Robert Gillespie Bullen and Isobel Marguerite Leeds Beasley.³ He married, firstly, Carol Aveling Rose, daughter of Alfred Henry Rose, in November 1932.¹ He and Carol Aveling Rose were divorced in 1938.¹ He married, secondly, Phyllis Beaby in August 1939.¹ He died on 22 September 1983 at age 76 at Thanet, Kent, England.²
