     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1683 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1706.¹ He lived at Carrigslaney, County Carlow, Ireland^G.¹

     Stepney Rawson Stepney is the son of Philip Rawson.¹

     Catherine Perceval was born circa 1667.¹ She was the daughter of George Perceval and Mary Crofton.² She and George Brereton obtained a marriage license on 17 December 1694.¹ She died on 10 January 1729.¹
     From 17 December 1694, her married name became Brereton.

     William Brereton was born on 17 March 1696.¹ He was the son of George Brereton and Catherine Perceval.² He married Alice Norcott, daughter of Reverend John Norcott, on 28 March 1720.¹ He died in May 1772 at age 76.¹

     Reverend John Norcott was the Vicar at Dromdowney, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Canon of Clonmeen.¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Kilmaclenine and Killenenamer.¹ He was also known as John Northcote.² He lived at Ballygarrett, Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was the Vicar at Ballyclough, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Alice Norcott was the daughter of Reverend John Norcott.² She and William Maunsell obtained a marriage license on 7 July 1713.² She married, secondly, William Brereton, son of George Brereton and Catherine Perceval, on 28 March 1720.¹ She died in March 1784.¹
     From 7 July 1713, her married name became Maunsell.² From 28 March 1720, her married name became Brereton.

     Frederick Palliser de Costobadie was born in 1857 at Isle of Man.¹ He was the son of Reverend Hugh Palliser de Costobadie and Fanny Barnett Latewand.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Laetitia Beauchamp, daughter of Reverend James Beauchamp and Margaret Sophia Beaumont, on 20 September 1881 at St, Nicholas, Hurst, Berkshire, England.^2,1 He married, secondly, Frances Helen Minterne in 1927 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He died in 1942.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the West Yorkshire Regiment.¹

     John Freeman lived at Ballinguile, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Alicia Freeman was the daughter of John Freeman.² She married George Brereton, son of William Brereton and Alice Norcott.¹ She died on 6 January 1772.¹
     Her married name became Brereton.

     George Brereton was the son of George Brereton and Alicia Freeman.² He married Janetta Brereton, daughter of Major William Brereton and Marion Edmonston, on 19 November 1771.¹ He died on 1 October 1781 at Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G, killed in a duel.¹
