Lady Laura Vane1

Lady Laura Vane was born on 6 January 1800.3 She was the daughter of William Henry Vane, 1st Duke of Cleveland and Lady Catherine Margaret Powlett.1 She was baptised on 21 February 1800 at Staindrop, County Durham, England.3 She married Lt.-Col. William Henry Meyrick, son of Captain Thomas Meyrick and Elizabeth Keppel, on 24 February 1823.1 She died on 11 November 1882 at age 82.2
From 24 February 1823, her married name became Meyrick.1

Geoffrey Morton Eden, 7th Baron Auckland1 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 6th Service Battalion, East Surrey Battalion.2 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.2 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1919.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940.2 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Auckland, of West Auckland, co. Durham [G.B., 1793] on 16 April 1941.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Auckland [I., 1789] on 16 April 1941.1 He was Governor of the Star and Garter Home for Disabled Servicemen.2
