Francis Bowes-Lyon and Lady Anne Catherine Sybil Lindsay, on 30 June 1947 at London, England.^3,2 She died on 15 September 1976 at age 85 at Johannesburg, Transvaal, South Africa.²
     From 17 September 1915, her married name became French. From 30 April 1926, her married name became Marks.³ Her married name became Bowes-Lyon.

     John Valentine Terence French was born on 30 October 1918.¹ He was the son of John Cyril French and Cecilia Goldinger.² He married Nanette Ogilvie, daughter of Alfred William Ogilvie, on 26 August 1940.¹ He died on 21 April 1943 at age 24, killed in a flying accident.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South African Air Force.¹
