     Sir Edward Keith was the son of Sir William de Keith and Isabel de Synton.^1,2 He married Isabel de Synton, daughter of Alexander de Synton, before July 1305.¹ He married Christian Menteith, daughter of Sir John Menteith, Lord of Arran and Helen of Mar.² He died on 17 October 1346 at Neville’s Cross^G, killed in action.¹ He was also reported to have died circa 1350.²
     He held the office of Marishal of Scotland.¹ He fought in the Battle of Neville’s Cross on 17 October 1346.¹

     Robert Keith was the son of Sir John Keith and unknown daughter de Soules.¹ He died, without male issue.¹

     Isabel de Synton is the daughter of Alexander de Synton.¹ She married Sir Edward Keith, son of Sir William de Keith and Isabel de Synton, before July 1305.¹
     From before July 1305, her married name became Keith.¹
