John Hume 2

     John Hume was born in 1703.2 He was the son of Reverend William Hume and Jane Robertson.2 He married Lady Mary Hay, daughter of George Henry Hay, 8th Earl of Kinnoull and Lady Abigail Harley, on 5 August 1758.1 He died on 26 June 1782.2
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He held the office of Bishop of Oxford and Salisbury.1 He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2

     He gained the rank of Ensign in the Coldstream Guards.1

     From 25 July 1959, her married name became Hay-Drummond.1 She lived in 2003 at Westridge House, Westridge Green, Streatley, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
