     Rosie Bridget Downing Bowles Stancomb was the daughter of William Stancomb and Bridget Downing Bowles Hare.2 She married, firstly, Reverend George Edward Gardiner, son of Reverend George Gregory Gardiner and Frances Mary Touchet, before 1873.1 She married, secondly, Reverend Frederic Drummond-Hay, son of Sir Edward Hay Drummond-Hay and Sarah Laura Livingston, on 29 October 1919.1 She died on 13 October 1929.1
     From before 1873, her married name became Gardiner.1 From 29 October 1919, her married name became Drummond-Hay.1
