     Mary Darby also went by the nick-name of Perdita.¹ Her married name became Robinson.¹ She and George IV Hanover, King of the United Kingdom were associated between 1779 and 1781.¹ She and General Sir Bannastre Tarleton, 1st and last Bt. were associated before 1797.^1,2

     Reverend Thomas Payne was born circa 1718.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Payne and Sarah Andrews.¹ He married Judith (?)¹ He died on 24 December 1797.¹
     He was educated at Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Prebendary of Wells Cathedral.¹

     Reverend Joseph Payne was born circa 1721.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Payne and Sarah Andrews.¹ He died on 19 August 1786.¹

     Reverend Henry Thomas Payne was born in 1760.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Payne and Judith (?)¹ He died in 1832.¹

     Eliza Payne was born in 1749.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Joseph Payne.¹ She married, firstly, Thomas Lucas in 1778.¹ She married, secondly, John Julius Angerstein in 1785.¹ She died on 8 March 1800.¹
     From 1778, her married name became Lucas.¹ From 1785, her married name became Angerstein.¹
