     Her married name became Kerry.¹ From 12 August 1952, her married name became Howard. After her marriage, Gladys Irene Freeman was styled as Countess of Effingham on 12 August 1952.

     Anne Margaret Trench is the daughter of William Trench and Sarah Elizabeth Frances Henrietta Ricarda Moore.¹ She married Guy Atkinson, son of Lt.-Col. Jackson Wray Atkinson and Sarah Caddell, on 24 October 1839.¹

     Mabel Suzanne Mingay Le Pen usually went by her middle name of Suzanne.¹ From before 1972, her married name became Cragg.¹ From 19 May 1972, her married name became Howard. After her marriage, Mabel Suzanne Mingay Le Pen was styled as Countess of Effingham on 19 May 1972.

     Madeleine Foshay was the daughter of William D. Foshay.¹ She married, firstly, James P. Keleher before 1924.¹ She married, secondly, Gordon Frederick Henry Charles Howard, 5th Earl of Effingham, son of Hon. Frederick Charles Howard and Lady Constance Eleanora Caroline Finch-Hatton, on 17 January 1924 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.^G.¹ She died on 27 June 1958.
     From before 1924, her married name became Keleher.¹ From 17 January 1924, her married name became Howard. After her marriage, Madeleine Foshay was styled as Countess of Effingham on 6 May 1927.

     Guy Atkinson was born on 14 July 1800.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Jackson Wray Atkinson and Sarah Caddell.² He married Anne Margaret Trench, daughter of William Trench and Sarah Elizabeth Frances Henrietta Ricarda Moore, on 24 October 1839.¹ He died on 28 November 1859 at age 59.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1846.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Cangort Park, County Offaly, Ireland^G.

     Charles Anthony Frederick Howard was born on 7 March 1951.¹ He is the son of Hon. John Algernon Frederick Charles Howard and Naida Frances Guest.¹ He married, firstly, Geraldine Margaret Theresa Dorman, daughter of Dr. Thomas Dorman, in 1978.¹ He and Geraldine Margaret Theresa Dorman were divorced in 1999.¹ He married, secondly, Rosel Marie Boycott, Baroness Boycott in 1999.¹
     He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from St. John’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1975 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He was appointed Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.) in 1999.¹ He lived in 2003 at 5 Wingate Road, London, England^G.¹

     Lady Constance Eleanora Caroline Finch-Hatton was born circa 1851. She was the daughter of George James Finch-Hatton, 11th Earl of Winchilsea and Lady Constance Henrietta Paget.^1,2 She married Hon. Frederick Charles Howard, son of Henry Howard, 2nd Earl of Effingham and Eliza Drummond, on 3 June 1871.¹ She died on 15 April 1910.¹
     Her married name became Howard.
