     From 17 March 1967, her married name became Ussher.¹ She graduated from New Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1968 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² She graduated from New Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² She was appointed Fellow, Royal Anthropological Institute (F.R.A.I.)² Her married name became Whitfield.³

     Henry George Evelyn Vardon was the son of Henry Vardon and Mary Emeline Evelyn.^2,3 He married Cecilia Laura Lenox-Conyngham, daughter of Reverend George Hugh Lenox-Conyngham and Barbara Josephine Turton, on 26 January 1918.² He died on 19 March 1951.²
     Henry George Evelyn Vardon also went by the nick-name of Jack.⁴
