     Julia Buller was the daughter of Frederick Pole Buller.² She married Maj.-Gen. Fendall Currie, son of Sir Frederick Currie, 1st Bt. and Katherine Maria Thompson, on 28 December 1869.¹ She died on 18 April 1920.¹
     From 28 December 1869, her married name became Currie.

     Alice Burton is the daughter of Thomas Burton and Dorothy Forster.¹ She married Crofton Vandeleur, son of John Vandeleur and Frances Ormsby, on 28 March 1765.¹
     From 28 March 1765, her married name became Vandeleur.¹

     Thomas Burton married Dorothy Forster, daughter of Rt. Hon. John Forster.¹

     Lt.-Col. Ivor Bertram Fendall Currie was born on 2 August 1872.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Fendall Currie and Julia Buller.² He married May Constance White, daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Stuart White, V.C. and Amelia Maria Baly, on 30 October 1906.¹ He died on 1 April 1924 at age 51.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹

     Field Marshal Sir George Stuart White, V.C. was born on 6 July 1835 at Rock Castle, Portstewart, County Londonderry, Ireland^G.³ He was the son of James Robert White and Frances Ann Stewart.³ He married Amelia Maria Baly, daughter of Joseph Baly, on 31 October 1874 at Simla, Bengal, India^G.³ He died on 24 June 1912 at age 76 at Chelsea, London, England^G.³
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Indian Empire (G.C.I.E.)⁴ He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.)⁴ He was awarded the Order of Merit (O.M.)⁴ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)⁴ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) in 1879.¹ He fought in the Siege of Ladysmith between November 1899 and March 1900.³ He held the office of Governor of Gibraltar between 1901 and 1905.³

     May Constance White was born circa 1884.² She was the daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Stuart White, V.C. and Amelia Maria Baly.^3,2 She married Lt.-Col. Ivor Bertram Fendall Currie, son of Maj.-Gen. Fendall Currie and Julia Buller, on 30 October 1906.¹ She died on 7 February 1937 at Kensington, London, England^G.^1,2
     From 30 October 1906, her married name became Currie.

     Sylvia Constance Currie was born on 2 October 1910.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Ivor Bertram Fendall Currie and May Constance White.² She married Nigel George Kingsford Burgess, son of Commander Malcolm Burgess, on 17 July 1937.¹
     From 17 July 1937, her married name became Burgess. She lived in 2003 at 52 Cornwall Gardens, London, England^G.¹

     Commander Malcolm Burgess gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Nigel George Kingsford Burgess is the son of Commander Malcolm Burgess.² He married Sylvia Constance Currie, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ivor Bertram Fendall Currie and May Constance White, on 17 July 1937.¹

     Anthony Malcolm Kingsford Burgess was born on 28 August 1941.¹ He is the son of Nigel George Kingsford Burgess and Sylvia Constance Currie.² He married Patricia Carol Gibson, daughter of Major Charles Gibson, on 24 April 1965.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹
