     Muriel Edith Hastings was born on 3 May 1886.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Alexander Plantagenet Hastings and Edith Caroline Blake.² She married Major Oswald Fairbanks Smith, son of Reverend Lewis A. Smith, on 5 August 1914.¹ She died on 25 December 1961 at age 75.¹
     From 5 August 1914, her married name became Smith.

     Reverend Lewis A. Smith was the Vicar at Bayford, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Major Oswald Fairbanks Smith was the son of Reverend Lewis A. Smith.² He married Muriel Edith Hastings, daughter of Admiral Alexander Plantagenet Hastings and Edith Caroline Blake, on 5 August 1914.¹ He died on 19 June 1942.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Hodson’s Horse, Indian Army.¹

     Francis Theophilus Henry Hastings was born on 9 January 1850.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris.² He died on 20 December 1905 at age 55, unmarried.¹

     Godolphin Plantagent Hastings was born on 10 October 1851.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris.² He died on 1 November 1892 at age 41, without issue.¹

     George Fowler Hastings was born on 2 September 1853.¹ He was the son of Hon. Edward Plantagenet Robin Hood Hastings and Caroline Sarah Morris.² He died on 24 October 1899 at age 46, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings was born on 26 March 1820.¹ He was the son of Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon and Frances Cobbe.^2,1 He married Agnes Fynes-Clinton, daughter of Henry Fynes-Clinton and Katharine Majendie, on 26 November 1846.¹ He died on 10 March 1865 at age 44.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He was the Rector at Hertingfordbury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     James Hollway was born circa 1830.² He married Ida Fynes-Clinton, daughter of Henry Fynes-Clinton and Katharine Majendie, on 8 July 1858.¹ He died in 1886.²

     Agnes Fynes-Clinton was the daughter of Henry Fynes-Clinton and Katharine Majendie.² She married Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings, son of Hans Francis Hastings, 12th Earl of Huntingdon and Frances Cobbe, on 26 November 1846.¹ She died on 6 March 1872.¹
     From 26 November 1846, her married name became Hastings.

     Francis Theophilus Clinton Hastings was born on 18 April 1850.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings and Agnes Fynes-Clinton.² He died on 10 October 1912 at age 62.¹
     He was with the India Office.¹
