     Charles Godolphin William Hastings was born on 29 June 1854.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings and Agnes Fynes-Clinton.² He married Margaret Logie Macpherson, daughter of General Sir James Macpherson, on 27 November 1882.¹ He died on 6 February 1920 at age 65.¹
     He was Inspector-General of Police, North-West Frontier.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)¹

     General Sir James Macpherson was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     Margaret Logie Macpherson was the daughter of General Sir James Macpherson.² She married Charles Godolphin William Hastings, son of Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings and Agnes Fynes-Clinton, on 27 November 1882.¹ She died on 9 October 1920.¹
     From 27 November 1882, her married name became Hastings.

     James Richard Godolphin Hastings was born on 26 August 1883.¹ He was the son of Charles Godolphin William Hastings and Margaret Logie Macpherson.² He died on 7 January 1936 at age 52.¹
     He was in the Indian Civil Service.¹

     Henry John Churchill Hastings was born on 17 July 1856.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings and Agnes Fynes-Clinton.² He married Edith Maria Clark, daughter of James Clark, on 14 October 1903.¹ He died on 20 June 1924 at age 67.¹

     James Clark lived at Pendock Court, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹

     Edith Maria Clark was the daughter of James Clark.² She married Henry John Churchill Hastings, son of Rev. Hon. Richard Godolphin Henry Hastings and Agnes Fynes-Clinton, on 14 October 1903.¹ She died in 1966.¹
     From 14 October 1903, her married name became Hastings.

     Henry Theophilus James Hastings was born in 1910.¹ He was the son of Henry John Churchill Hastings and Edith Maria Clark.² He married Muriel Hyde Turner, daughter of Walter Turner, on 3 March 1941.¹ He died in 1977.¹

     Walter Turner lived at Athol Place, Banket, Zimbabwe^G.¹

     Muriel Hyde Turner was the daughter of Walter Turner.² She married Henry Theophilus James Hastings, son of Henry John Churchill Hastings and Edith Maria Clark, on 3 March 1941.¹ She died in 1977.¹
     She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ From 3 March 1941, her married name became Hastings.
