     He gained the title of 1st Baronet Pollock, of Nether Pollok, co. Renfrew. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Scotland] between 1700 and 1707.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1707 and 1722.²

     Sir Robert Crawfurd-Pollock, 3rd Bt. was born on 16 April 1762 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.^1,2 He was the son of Sir Hew Crawfurd, 2nd Bt. and Robina Pollock.¹ He married Mary Mushet, daughter of Dr. William Mushet, on 11 August 1793 at St. Luke, Chelsea, London, England.^1,3 He died on 7 August 1845 at age 83 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in December 1845.¹
     He was given the name of Robert Crawfurd at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the British Army.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Crawfurd, of Kilbirnie, co. Ayr [N.S., 1628] on 1 July 1794.¹ In 1820 his name was legally changed to Robert Crawfurd-Pollock after succeeding to his mother’s estates.¹ He lived at Pollok Castle, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Mary Mushet was born circa 1770.² She was the daughter of Dr. William Mushet.¹ She married Sir Robert Crawfurd-Pollock, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Hew Crawfurd, 2nd Bt. and Robina Pollock, on 11 August 1793 at St. Luke, Chelsea, London, England.^1,2 She died on 26 February 1826 at York, Yorkshire, England.²
     From 11 August 1793, her married name became Crawfurd-Pollock.¹

     Dr. William Mushet was born in 1716.² He died in 1792.²
     He lived at York, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Physician-General in the the army in Germany.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     Hew Crawfurd was born on 12 November 1769 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² He was the son of Sir Hew Crawfurd, 2nd Bt. and Robina Pollock.¹ He married Jane Johnstone, daughter of William Johnstone.¹ He died on 25 December 1831 at age 62.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the British Army.¹

     Jane Johnstone is the daughter of William Johnstone.¹ She married Hew Crawfurd, son of Sir Hew Crawfurd, 2nd Bt. and Robina Pollock.¹
     Her married name became Crawfurd.¹

     William Johnstone lived at Headfort, County Leitrim, Ireland^G.¹

     George William Kemp was born on 7 May 1860.¹ He married Margaret Hutton.¹ He died on 24 December 1912 at age 52.¹ He was buried at Brooklyn, New York City, New York, U.S.A.¹
