Christopher Anstey was born on 31 October 1724 at Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England.1,3 He was the son of Reverend Christopher Anstey and Mary Thompson.3 He married Anne Calvert, daughter of Felix Calvert and Mary Calvert, on 20 December 1756.1 He died on 3 August 1805 at age 80.1,3,2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He was educated at King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.3 He wrote the book The New Bath Guide: or Memoirs of the B__n__r__d Family in a series of Poetical Epistles, published 1766.3 He lived at Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1
