Edward Wingfield, 2nd Viscount Powerscourt 
Edward Wingfield, 2nd Viscount Powerscourt was born on 23 October 1729.2 He was the son of Richard Wingfield, 1st Viscount Powerscourt and Dorothy Beresford Rowley.3,2 He died on 6 May 1764 at age 34, unmarried.2
He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Wingfield, of Wingfield, co. Wexford [I., 1743] on 21 October 1751.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Powerscourt, of Powerscourt, co. Wicklow [I., 1743] on 21 October 1751.2 He was Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stockbridge, Hampshire between 1756 and 1761.2
