     Joseph Gerald Pease was born on 17 April 1863.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pease and Susanna Fry.¹ He married Winifred Amy Hudleston, daughter of Colonel Josiah Hudleston, on 22 December 1904.¹ He died on 3 March 1928 at age 64.¹
