     He was director of the Bank of Ireland.¹ He was principal of William Hogg & Company, merchants.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1902.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He lived at Stratford, Orwell Road, Rathgar, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Michael Stewart Pease was born on 2 October 1890.¹ He was the son of Edward Reynolds Pease and Mary Gammell Davidson.¹ He married Hon. Helen Bowen Wedgwood, daughter of Josiah Clement Wedgwood, 1st Baron Wedgwood and Hon. Ethel Kate Bowen, on 24 February 1920.¹ He died on 27 July 1966 at age 75.¹
     He was educated at Bedales School, Petersfield, Hampshire, England^G.¹ From 24 February 1920, his married name became Wedgwood. He was a researcher at Cambridge University School of Agriculture, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of the Chesterton Regional District Council between 1928 and 1966.¹ He held the office of Member of the Cambridge County Council in 1958.¹ He lived at Reynolds Close, Girton, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1966.¹

     Edward Reynolds Pease was born on 23 December 1857.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pease and Susanna Fry.¹ He married Mary Gammell Davidson, daughter of Reverend George Smyttan Davidson and Mary Gammell Stewart, on 16 September 1889.¹ He died on 5 January 1955 at age 97.¹
     He was a member of the London Stock Exchange between 1880 and 1889.¹ He was a cabinet maker and trade-unionist between 1886 and 1889 at Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^G.¹ He was a member of the Labour Party Executive between 1900 and 1913.¹ He lived at The Pendice, Limpsfield, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Susanna Fry was born on 7 January 1829.² She was the daughter of Joseph Fry and Mary Ann Swaine.^1,2 She married Thomas Pease, son of Thomas Benson Pease and Martha Whitelock, on 15 April 1856.¹ She died in 1917.¹
     From 15 April 1856, her married name became Pease.¹
