     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Mary Louisa Henrietta Hart is the daughter of Gilbert Hart.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Theophilus Smith-Dorrien, son of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² She married, firstly, George Nixon.¹
     Her married name became Nixon.¹ Her married name became Smith-Dorrien.

     Walter Montgomery Smith-Dorrien was born on 13 June 1851 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² He died on 17 December 1924 at age 73, unmarried.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.¹ He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1877 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Durham University, Durham, County Durham, England, in 1891 with a Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.)¹ He was Chaplain between 1893 and 1899 at St. Mary’s College, Dalkeith, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ He was Vicar between 1901 and 1924 at Crediton, Devon, England.¹

     Amy Smith-Dorrien was born on 22 August 1852 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² She died on 4 September 1945 at age 93.²

     Edith Smith-Dorrien was born on 30 December 1853 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² She married Reverend Augustus George Kirby, son of George Goldsmith Kirby and Harriet Sarah Watts, circa 1880.²
     From circa 1880, her married name became Kirby.²

     George Goldsmith Kirby was born circa 1806 at Holburn, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of George Kirby.¹ He was baptised on 18 May 1806 at St. Andrew’s Church, Holborn, London, England^G.¹ He married Harriet Sarah Watts, daughter of Joseph Watts and Hannah (?), on 20 April 1828 at St. George’s Church, Bloomsbury, London, England^G.¹ He died in 1868.¹

     Alma Paulina Smith-Dorrien was born circa 1855 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.² She was the daughter of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² She died on 19 February 1941.²

     Rear-Admiral Arthur Hale Smith-Dorrien was born on 23 May 1856 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Robert Algernon Smith-Dorrien and Mary Ann Drever.² He died on 5 June 1933 at age 77, unmarried.²
     He fought in the Zulu War in 1879, in the Naval Brigade.¹ He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882, in H.M.S. Eclipse.¹ He retired from the military in 1909, with the rank of Rear-Admiral.¹ He lived at New Lodge, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, England.¹

     John Ponsonby Trousdell was born on 6 November 1882.¹ He was the son of William Blakeney Persse Trousdell and Ellen Philippa Louisa Whatman.¹
