She was given the name of Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings at birth.3 Her married name became Clifton. In 1859 her name was legally changed to Edith Maud Abney-Hastings by Act of Parliament.4 She succeeded as the 11th Lord Campbell of Loudoun [S., 1601] on 10 November 1868.3 She succeeded as the 10th Countess of Loudoun [S., 1633] on 10 November 1868, suo jure.3 She succeeded as the 10th Lord Tarrinzean and Mauchline [S., 1633] on 10 November 1868.3 She succeeded as the 21st Baroness Botreaux [E., 1368] on 6 November 1871, suo jure, after the abeyance of this title was terminated in her favour.1 She succeeded as the 20th Baroness Hungerford [E., 1426] on 6 November 1871, when the abeyance was terminated.5 She succeeded as the 18th Baroness Moleyns [E., 1445] on 6 November 1871, when the abeyance was terminated.5

Lady Florence Cecilia Paget1

Lady Florence Cecilia Paget was born in August 1842.3 She was the daughter of Henry Paget, 2nd Marquess of Anglesey and Henrietta Maria Bagot.1 She and Henry Chaplin, 1st Viscount Chaplin were engaged circa 1864 but she then eloped with the Marquess of Hastings.4 She married, firstly, Henry Weysford Charles Plantagenet Rawdon-Hastings, 4th Marquess of Hastings, son of George Augustus Francis Rawdon-Hastings, 2nd Marquess of Hastings and Barbara Yelverton, Baroness Grey (of Ruthin), on 16 July 1864.3 She married, secondly, Sir George Chetwynd, 4th Bt., son of Sir George Chetwynd, 3rd Bt. and Lady Charlotte Augusta Hill, on 9 June 1870 at St. James’ Church, Westminster, London, EnglandG.5 She died on 3 February 1907 at age 64.3
From 16 July 1864, her married name became Rawdon-Hastings. After her marriage, Lady Florence Cecilia Paget was styled as Dowager Marchioness of Hastings on 10 November 1868.5 From 9 June 1870, her married name became Chetwynd.

Stafford [G.B., 1795] on 24 March 1869.4 He held the office of Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1870.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Warwickshire in 1875.4 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)4
