     Alice Mary Elizabeth March Phillipps de Lisle was born circa 1842 at Grace Dieu Manor, THringstone, Leicestershire, England.^2,3 She was the daughter of Ambrose Lisle March Phillipps de Lisle and Laura Maria Clifford.^1,4 She and Henry Weysford Charles Plantagenet Rawdon-Hastings, 4th Marquess of Hastings were engaged in 1862.² She married Hon. Arthur Strutt, son of Edward Strutt, 1st Baron Belper and Amelia Harriet Otter, on 22 April 1873 at Lougborough, Leicestershire, England.^1,3 She died on 31 March 1926 at Milford, Surrey Road, Bournemouth, Hampshire, England.^1,3
     Her married name became Strutt.

     Captain Hugh Hyde Parker was born on 18 July 1869.¹ He was the son of Captain Sir William Parker, 9th Bt. and Sophia Mary Barnardiston. He died on 21 July 1898 at age 29, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Third Suffolk Regiment.¹

     William Strutt was born on 7 May 1838 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^2,3 He was the son of Edward Strutt, 1st Baron Belper and Amelia Harriet Otter.¹ He died on 19 January 1856 at age 17 at Bonn, Nordrhein-Westfahlen, Germany^G, unmarried.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward Lisle Strutt was born on 8 February 1874 at Milford House, Duffield, Derbyshire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Hon. Arthur Strutt and Alice Mary Elizabeth March Phillipps de Lisle.¹ He married Florence Nina Holland, daughter of John Robert Holland, on 10 October 1905.¹ He died on 7 July 1948 at age 74, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches four times.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary-Lieutenant and GSO(1) in 1916.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹ He was awarded the Knight, Order of Leopold of Belgium.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Order of Romania.¹ He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre French.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Scots.¹ He held the office of Allied High Commissioner in Danzig in 1920.¹ In 1922 he was the second in charge of the Everest Expedition.¹

     Florence Nina Holland was the daughter of John Robert Holland.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Edward Lisle Strutt, son of Hon. Arthur Strutt and Alice Mary Elizabeth March Phillipps de Lisle, on 10 October 1905.¹ She died on 6 January 1969.¹
     Her married name became Strutt.
