     Robert Munro of Foulis was the son of Hector Munro of Foulis and Margaret Macleod of Harris.2 He married Margaret Dunbar, daughter of Sir Alexander Dunbar of Westfield and Isobel Sutherland.1 He died on 8 September 1547, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Battle of Pinkie on 8 September 1547.1

     He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Moray.2 He inherited the lands of Carnoustie, Cluny and others from his father.2 He lived before 1450 at Westfield, Morayshire, ScotlandG.2
