He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Honourable Artillery Company.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Lucas-Tooth, of Queen’s Gate, Kensington and Kamaruka, New South Wales [U.K., 1906] on 19 February 1915.1 On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1
