     Theodore Dyke Acland was born on 14 November 1851.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Wentworth Acland, 1st Bt. and Sarah Cotton.¹ He married Caroline Cameron Gull, daughter of Sir William Withey Gull, 1st Bt. and Susan Anne Lacy, on 12 April 1888.¹ He died on 16 April 1931 at age 79.¹
     He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)¹ He was Principal Medical Officer of the Egyptian Army in 1883.¹ He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial Army.)¹

     Caroline Cameron Gull was the daughter of Sir William Withey Gull, 1st Bt. and Susan Anne Lacy.^1,2 She married Theodore Dyke Acland, son of Sir Henry Wentworth Acland, 1st Bt. and Sarah Cotton, on 12 April 1888.¹ She died on 20 March 1929.¹
     Her married name became Acland.

     Sir William Withey Gull, 1st Bt. was born on 31 December 1816.² He was the son of John Gull and Elizabeth Chilver.³ He married Susan Anne Lacy, daughter of Colonel J. Dacre Lacy, on 18 May 1848.² He died on 29 January 1890 at age 73.²
     He graduated from London University, London, England^G, in 1841 with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)² He graduated from London University, London, England^G, in 1846 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)² He was Fullerian Professor of Physiology between 1847 and 1849 at Royal Institute, London, England^G.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.) in 1848.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)² He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Doctor of Law (LL.D.)² He held the office of Physician in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria.² He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1868 with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)² He was a consultant physician in 1871 at Guy’s Hospital, London, England^G.² He was created 1st Baronet Gull, of Brook St, in the parish of St George, Hanover Square, Middlesex [U.K.] on 8 February 1872.²

     Sir Reginald Brodie Dyke Acland was born on 18 May 1856.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Wentworth Acland, 1st Bt. and Sarah Cotton.¹ He married Helen Emma Fox, daughter of Reverend Thomas Fox, on 12 August 1885.¹ He died on 18 February 1924 at age 67.¹
     He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1881 entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He was junior counsel in the Admiralty between 1897 and 1904.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Shrewsbury between 1901 and 1903.¹ He held the office of Recorder of Oxford in 1903.¹ He was appointed King’s Counsel (K.C.) in 1904.¹ He held the office of Judge Advocate of the Fleet in 1904.¹ He held the office of Bencher in 1913.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1914.¹

     Helen Emma Fox was the daughter of Reverend Thomas Fox.¹ She married Sir Reginald Brodie Dyke Acland, son of Sir Henry Wentworth Acland, 1st Bt. and Sarah Cotton, on 12 August 1885.¹ She died on 31 August 1943.¹
     Her married name became Acland.

     Reverend Thomas Fox was born in 1780 at Maperton, Somerset, England.² He married Mary Housom Fort.²
     He was the Rector at Temple Combe, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Francis Edward Dyke Acland was born on 12 May 1857.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Wentworth Acland, 1st Bt. and Sarah Cotton.¹ He married Marion Sarah Macrorie, daughter of Rt. Rev. William Kenneth Macrorie, on 8 January 1885.¹ He died on 14 March 1943 at age 85.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)¹ He lived Member, Institution of Mechanical Engineers (M.I.M.E.)¹
