     Dr. James Sharp was born in 1613.2 He was the son of William Sharpe and Isobel Leslie.3,4 He married Helen Moncrieff, daughter of William Moncrieff, on 6 April 1652.2 He died on 3 May 1679, murdered by Covenanters on Magus Muir.3
     He held the office of Primate of Scotland. He held the office of Archbishop of St. Andrews.3 He was also known as James Sharpe.3 He was educated in 1637 at King’s College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Master of Arts (M.A.)4

     Lady Mary Gordon was born on 28 March 1682.1 She was the daughter of George Gordon of Haddo, 1st Earl of Aberdeen and Anne Lockhart.1 She was baptised at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She married Alexander Fraser, 13th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy, son of William Fraser, 12th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Margaret Sharp, on 26 October 1707 at Methlick, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 She died on 18 February 1753 at age 70.1
     Her married name became Fraser.

     Alexander Fraser, 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born on 27 June 1758.1 He was the son of George Fraser, 15th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Helen Gordon.1 He married Margery Fraser, daughter of Simon Fraser, on 9 June 1784.1 He died on 13 September 1793 at age 35.1
     He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn.1 He was a practising advocate in 1780.1 He succeeded as the 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy [S., 1445] on 30 August 1781.1 He held the office of Honoray Burgess of Banff in 1791.1

     Margery Fraser was the daughter of Simon Fraser.1 She married Alexander Fraser, 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy, son of George Fraser, 15th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Helen Gordon, on 9 June 1784.1 She died on 15 November 1851.1
     Her married name became Fraser.

Alexander George Fraser, 17th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy

     Alexander George Fraser, 17th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy was born on 22 April 1785.1 He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Margery Fraser.1 He married Catharine Thurlow, daughter of Edward Thurlow, 1st Baron Thurlow of Thurlow, on 6 March 1815.1 He died on 18 August 1853 at age 68, without issue.1

     Hon. William Fraser was born on 12 October 1791.2 He was the son of Alexander Fraser, 16th Lord Saltoun of Abernethy and Margery Fraser.2 He married Elizabeth Graham Macdowall, daughter of David Macdowall and Eleanor Mary Grant, on 9 April 1818.2 He died on 21 March 1845 at age 53.2
     He was a West India merchant.2
