Sir Humphrey Brunel Noble of Ardmore, 4th Bt. was born on 9 May 1892.1 He was the son of Sir Saxton William Armstrong Noble of Ardmore, 3rd Bt. and Celia Brunel James.1,3 He married Celia Weigall, daughter of Captain Stewart Carnac Weigall, on 28 January 1926.1 He died on 14 August 1968 at age 76.1
He lived at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1914 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He graduated from King’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1 He was awarded the Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Northumberland Hussars.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Noble, of Ardmore and Ardardan Noble, Cardross, co.
