     Arpád Albert Rudolf Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff was born on 17 September 1858 at Szolos-Veg-Ardo, Hungary.¹ He was the son of Carl Alexander Friedrich Graf und Freiherr von Bothmer zu Schwegerhoff and Rosa von Szabó de Sepsi-Szant-György.¹ He married Helene Marie Isidora von Pilaszanovits, daughter of Joseph von Pilaszanovits and Jolantha von Bogor, on 15 March 1890 at Budapest, Hungary^G.¹ He died on 3 July 1938 at age 79 at Duna-Almas.¹
