     George Buchanan, 1st of Mount Vernon was born in 1728.¹ He is the son of Andrew Buchanan of Drumpellier and Marion Montgomery.¹ He married Lilias Dunlop, daughter of James Dunlop, 4th of Garnkirk and Henrietta Maxwell.¹ He died in 1762.¹

     David Carrick-Buchanan of Drumpellier and Mount Vernon was born in 1760.¹ He is the son of George Buchanan, 1st of Mount Vernon and Lilias Dunlop.¹ He died on 20 May 1827.¹
     He lived at Drumpellier, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G. He was given the name of David Buchanan at birth.

     Clotilde Mary Hamilton Browne was born on 9 May 1886.² She was the daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope.^1,2 She married Hugh Augustus Bagot-Chester, son of Colonel Heneage Charles Bagot-Chester and Madeline Elizabeth Massey, on 15 February 1913.¹ She died on 1 February 1964 at age 77.¹
     Her married name became Bagot-Chester.

     Hugh Augustus Bagot-Chester was born on 21 April 1871.¹ He was the son of Colonel Heneage Charles Bagot-Chester and Madeline Elizabeth Massey.¹ He married Margaret Kathleen Julia Oakes, daughter of Colonel Richard E. Oakes, on 13 January 1895.¹ He and Margaret Kathleen Julia Oakes were divorced in 1908.¹ He married Clotilde Mary Hamilton Browne, daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope, on 15 February 1913.¹ He died on 6 January 1938 at age 66.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Staffordshire Yeomanry.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won a medals and three clasps.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Royal Lancashire Regiment.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he won three medals.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to 9th Division.¹

     Clementine Bathia Evelyne Browne was born on 21 December 1889.² She was the daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope.¹ She married Captain Algernon Seymour Hoare, son of Henry Seymour Hoare and Eleanor Mary Byron, on 16 September 1916.² She died on 21 November 1918 at age 28.²
     Her married name became Hoare.

     Captain Algernon Seymour Hoare was the son of Henry Seymour Hoare and Eleanor Mary Byron.² He married, firstly, Clementine Bathia Evelyne Browne, daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope, on 16 September 1916.¹ He married, secondly, Wynefred Nancy Shorrock, daughter of Guy Shorrock and Emma Blanche Wake, on 30 September 1924.³ He died on 13 May 1952.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Life Guards.¹

     Major John Aveline Waters Taylor married Anne Mandy.¹

     Geraldine Henrietta Somerville Browne was born on 4 September 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope.¹ She died on 27 June 1896 at age 4.¹

     Gertrude Cicely Juliet Browne was born on 6 March 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Arthur Henry Browne and Clotilde Georgina Don-Wauchope.¹

     Margaret Kathleen Julia Oakes was the daughter of Colonel Richard E. Oakes.¹ She married Hugh Augustus Bagot-Chester, son of Colonel Heneage Charles Bagot-Chester and Madeline Elizabeth Massey, on 13 January 1895.¹ She and Hugh Augustus Bagot-Chester were divorced in 1908.¹ She died on 10 February 1951.
     Her married name became Bagot-Chester.
