     Helga Mary Guinness was born on 30 September 1916.² She is the daughter of Henry Samuel Howard Guinness and Alfhild Holter.³ She married, firstly, Sir Hugh Carleton Greene, son of Charles Henry Greene, on 24 October 1934.¹ She and Sir Hugh Carleton Greene were divorced in 1948.¹ She married, secondly, Henry Stuart Connolly, son of H. S. Connolly, on 19 November 1963.¹
     From 24 October 1934, her married name became Greene. From 19 November 1963, her married name became Connolly. On 19 November 1963 Sussex (see BURKE’S LG~ GREENE formerly ofHarston House) She m (Henry) Stuart Connolly.² She lived in 2003 at 58040 Tirli, Grosseto, Italy.²

     Charles Henry Greene was appointed Fellow,Royal Historical Society (F.R.Hist.S.)¹ He lived at Crowborough, Essex, England^G.¹

     Sir Hugh Carleton Greene is the son of Charles Henry Greene.² He married Helga Mary Guinness, daughter of Henry Samuel Howard Guinness and Alfhild Holter, on 24 October 1934.¹ He and Helga Mary Guinness were divorced in 1948.¹
     He was Director-General and Governor of the BBC.¹ He was chairman of Bodley Head.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

Hon. Patrick Christian Gordon-Walker, Baron Gordon-Walker and Audrey Muriel Rudolf, in 1957.¹ He and Hon. Judith Margaret Gordon-Walker were divorced in 1975.¹ He married, secondly, Sally Georgina Horton Eaton, daughter of Sidney Wilfred Eaton, in 1976.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was a merchant banker between 1957 and 1958.¹ He was with Secker & Warburg between 1958 and 1962.¹ He was with Jonathan Cape between 1962 and 1990.¹ He was managing director of Jonathan Cape between 1966 and 1988.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1986.¹ He was awarded the Chevealier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.¹

     Robert Cecil Guinness is the son of Reverend William Newton Guinness and Harriet F. Day.¹ He married Madeline Rede Buckley, daughter of Robert Orford Buckley and Anne Cooper Rede.

     Hon. Judith Margaret Gordon-Walker is the daughter of Rt. Hon. Patrick Christian Gordon-Walker, Baron Gordon-Walker and Audrey Muriel Rudolf.^2,3 She married Graham Carleton Greene, son of Sir Hugh Carleton Greene and Helga Mary Guinness, in 1957.¹ She and Graham Carleton Greene were divorced in 1975.¹
     From 1957, her married name became Greene.

     Alexander Greene was born on 19 February 1978.¹ He is the son of Graham Carleton Greene and Sally Georgina Horton Eaton.^2,1

     James Carleton Greene was born on 20 January 1938.¹ He is the son of Sir Hugh Carleton Greene and Helga Mary Guinness.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He wrote the book Dead Man’s Fall (poems), published 1980.¹

     Captain John Neville Norcott D’Esterre was born in 1762 at Castle Henry, Ireland.² He married Jane Mary Lucretia Cramer, daughter of William Cramer, in 1812 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.^1,2 He died in 1815, as a result of a duel with Daniel O’Connell at Six Mile Bridge.^1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹
