     Seth Hampton was born in 1846 at Drumard Primate, Kilmore, County Armagh, IrelandG.2 He was the son of William Hampton and Margaret Jane Hampton.1 He was christened on 27 August 1846 at Kilmore Parish Church, Kilmore, County Armagh, IrelandG.2 He married Elizabeth Jane Hill in 1873 at Christchurch, New ZealandG.2,3 He died in 1905.2 He was buried at Linwood Cemetery, Christchurch, New ZealandG.2
     Seth immigrated to New ZealandG, arriving on circa 1864.2
