Reverend Sir John Francis Twisden, 11th Bt. was born on 10 November 1825.1 He was the son of William Twisden and Martha Billett.1 He married Catherine Hester Spence Ramskill, daughter of Parsons Ramskill, on 4 June 1855.1
He was Professor of Mathematics between 1858 and 1885 at Staff College, Camberley, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was the Perpetual Curate between 1880 and 1888 at Minley, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Twisden, of Bradbourne, Kent [E., 1666] on 6 May 1907, de jure.2 In 1909 he established his claim to the baronetcy.1
