     Sir John Twisden, 8th Bt. was born on 28 September 1784.² He was the son of Sir John Papillion Twisden, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Geary.¹ He married Catharine Judith Coppard, daughter of Reverend William Coppard, on 25 February 1811.¹ He died on 1 January 1841 at age 56, without surviving issue.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in February 1841.¹
     He styled himself as 8th Baronet Twisden, of Bradbourne, Kent on 10 February 1810.¹ He lived at Bradbourne, Kent, England^G.¹

     Catharine Judith Coppard was born circa 1790.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend William Coppard.¹ She married Sir John Twisden, 8th Bt., son of Sir John Papillion Twisden, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Geary, on 25 February 1811.¹ She died on 29 April 1819.¹ She was also reported to have died on 13 April 1819.²
     From 25 February 1811, her married name became Twisden.¹

     Reverend William Coppard was the Rector at Graveley, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹

     Geoffrey William Sherston was born in 1891 at Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Sherston and Alice Bamfield.¹ He married Monica Dulcibella Barrett, daughter of Robert Bell Barrett and Frances Madeleine Robinson.¹ He died on 18 October 1944.^1,2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He was agent for the Zetland estates.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.¹

     John Sherston was born in 1857 at Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the son of Captain John Sherston and Innes Maxwell.¹ He married Alice Bamfield, daughter of A. H. Bamfield. He died in 1899 at South Africa^G, killed in action.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹

     Alice Bamfield was born circa 1865.¹ She was the daughter of A. H. Bamfield.¹ She married John Sherston, son of Captain John Sherston and Innes Maxwell.
     Her married name became Sherston.

     A. H. Bamfield was Inspector-General of Police at South Africa^G.¹

     Monica Dulcibella Barrett was born in 1893 at Skipton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Bell Barrett and Frances Madeleine Robinson.¹ She married Geoffrey William Sherston, son of John Sherston and Alice Bamfield.¹ She died on 18 September 1980.^1,2
     Her married name became Sherston.¹

     Captain John Sherston was born in 1830 at Wells, Somerset, England^G.¹ He married Innes Maxwell, daughter of Major Hamilton G. Maxwell and Isabella Bunbury.¹

     Innes Maxwell was the daughter of Major Hamilton G. Maxwell and Isabella Bunbury.¹ She married Captain John Sherston.¹ She died in 1897.¹
     Her married name became Sherston.¹
