     George Howe Furse was born on 10 June 1808 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Edward Furse and Lady Maria Juliana Howe.¹ He was baptised on 26 December 1808 at St. James Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.¹ He married Martha Fall on 17 March 1836.¹ He died on 31 December 1876 at age 68.¹
     He emigrated to U.S.A.^G arriving on 1829.¹ He was a teacher circa 1830 at Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.^G.¹ In 1832 at St. Louis, Missouri, U.S.A.^G, he signed onto William Sublette’s fur trading expedition into the Wyoming Tetons.¹ He was a tutor to the household of Meredith Marmaduke circa 1833 at Arrow Rock, Missouri, U.S.A.^G.¹ He was naturalized as a U.S. citizen on 24 July 1840.¹ He was a farmer circa 1858 at Linn County, Kansas, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Feliciani Fessia gained the rank of Major-General in the Italian Navy.¹

     Teresa Carolina Maria Fessia is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Feliciani Fessia.² She married Major Alastair Joseph Edgar Gordon-Cranstoun of that Ilk, son of Brig.-Gen. Alister Fraser Gordon and Pilar Eliza Mary Edmondstoune-Cranstoun, in 1972.¹
     She graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.)¹ From 1972, her married name became Gordon-Cranstoun.¹

     Cameron Vail Noble is the daughter of John Noble and Pembroke Thom France.¹ She married, secondly, Philip Bertram Gurdon, 3rd Baron Cranworth of Letton and Cranworth, son of Lt. Hon. Robert Brampton Gurdon and Hon. Daisy Yoskyl Consuelo Pearson, on 9 September 2006 at St. Botolph’s Church, Culpho.²
     She lived at Easton, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.² After her marriage, Cameron Vail Noble was styled as Baroness Cranworth of Letton and Cranworth on 9 September 2006. From 9 September 2006, her married name became Gurdon.²

     Alexander Francis Maxwell Lockhart lived at Milton Lockhart, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Major John Gilbert Lockhart was the son of Alexander Francis Maxwell Lockhart.² He married Margaret Colette Mary Gordon, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Alister Fraser Gordon and Pilar Eliza Mary Edmondstoune-Cranstoun, on 3 June 1937.¹ He died on 7 January 1960.¹
     He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Hugh John Lockhart was born on 26 July 1945.¹ He is the son of Major John Gilbert Lockhart and Margaret Colette Mary Gordon.² He married, firstly, Tinsley Place, daughter of David Place, on 9 March 1985.¹ He and Tinsley Place were divorced in 1998.¹ He married, secondly, Philippa Edge, daughter of Ian Edge, on 24 November 2001.¹
